Therapeutic Mentoring
1:1 mentoring rooted in trauma-informed and relational practice.
Who it's for
Young people who need a consistent, trusted adult alongside their academic provision — including looked-after and previously looked-after children.
How it works
Mentoring sessions sit alongside tuition or stand alone. Mentors are trained in trauma-informed approaches and supervised regularly. Sessions are documented, with goals reviewed approximately every six weeks. Therapeutic mentoring is a relational, education-focused intervention — it is not a substitute for therapy or clinical treatment.
